Welcome to our home away from home. Caledonian Societies exist all over the world and we, here in Beijing, are more than happy to welcome all who enjoy Ceilidh evenings and those who would like to find out more about all things Scottish to our own ‘Impromptu Social Gatherings’ the English translation of the Gaelic word, ‘Ceilidh’.

We are a group of people who enjoy Scottish music, dancing and having fun. There are a few kilt-wearing Scots amongst us but it is truly an international gathering.

Events are held throughout the year to celebrate Scottish tradition and culture. Details outlining the annual events we organise can be viewed below with full details of all events to be found on the Events page.

If you are interested in becoming a member or would like to be put on the mailing list and receive notification of up coming events, please use the registration form that can be found from this link.

NEWS - We have now created a Facebook group: come and join "The Caledonian Society of Beijing"  for an easy way to be kept informed of updates and events.
